Dessert Tasting Menu

Meetings and tastings are held at the Table of Contents Vintage Rentals’ space, located at 928 E Center Street in Riverwest. Tastings can be scheduled on Sunday evenings, and Monday or Tuesday afternoon/evening. An appointment is required. Tastings are priced at $15/person and includes up to four items (total) to try from the dessert menu and can accommodate up to four people. Please let us know how many guests will be attending with you. We ask that you submit your tasting selections a week in advance, to allow for preparation. Payment will be due at the time of appointment confirmation.

If you unable to attend an individual sit-down appointment for desserts but are having a menu tasting with Ball-n-Biscuit Catering, we can provide drop off at that location.

If you decide that DALENA is the right choice for your event, the tasting fee will be deducted from your final balance.

  • Josie’s Carrot Cake – Grandma Josie’s classic spiced carrot cupcake with walnuts and cream cheese frosting. Nuts can be omitted for those with allergies.
  • Decadent Chocolate – Rich & chocolatey cupcake with milk chocolate buttercream.
  • Red Wine Velvet – Dye-free red velvet cupcake, made with red wine and cocoa, cream cheese frosting.
  • Vanilla Bean – Vanilla bean cupcake with vanilla buttercream.

  • Hello, Dolly Bars – Also known as Seven Layer bars, these bars were first created in the 1960’s, when “Hello, Dolly!” premiered on Broadway. Mine include chocolate chips, butterscotch or white chocolate chips, unsweetened coconut, graham crackers, and walnuts.

*Six-inch bride and groom cakes include three layers of cake and two layers of filling or frosting. Eight and ten inch cakes consist of two layers of cake and one layer of filling or frosting.

*The standard design for all cakes will include natural elements, such as fresh fruit, flowers, or herbs. When available, edible flowers may be used.

*All cakes can be made vegan OR gluten free with an upcharge of $.50 per slice, or $1.00 per slice for cakes that are both vegan AND gluten free.

*Vintage cake stands and/or platters for displaying your cake and/or desserts are available for a flat fee of $50.00. Plain cake stands and/or platters are available for a flat fee of $35.00. Any necessary serving tongs/utensils are included, if needed, with cake stand/platter rentals.

*Cake cutting and plating fee: $50.00.

  • Classic Vanilla – Layers of vanilla bean cake with vanilla buttercream.
